Faint Particle Filter Documentation¶
Splits¶
The filter is expected to run on the following split:
InIceSplit
Triggers and online Filter¶
The filter is expected to run on the following trigger and online Filter:
FaintParticleTrigger
DCOnlineFilter
Inputs¶
The filter tray segment requires the following inputs:
SplitInIcePulses
Reconstructions used by the filter¶
The filter utilizes the following reconstructions:
SPE fit: Applied to pulses cleaned with “I3SeededRTCleaning_RecoPulseMask_Module”.
MPE fit: Applied to pulses cleaned with “I3SeededRTCleaning_RecoPulseMask_Module” and SPE fit as seed.
Output¶
The following objects are expected to be added to the P-frame output in the InIceSplit by the filter:
FPF_LineFit
FPF_LineFit_Params

Filter rate¶
The expected average filter rate per year is 7.5 Hz. The filter result is contained within the P-frame I3Bool FaintParticleFilter_24.
